  • Want to get involved in the incredible Chabad LES community? 

  • Since 2005, Chabad of the Lower East Side has been more than a synagogue - it’s been a home for Jewish life in the heart of downtown. It’s where children discover the beauty of their heritage in Hebrew School, where families gather for Shabbat dinners filled with warmth and song, where adults find inspiration in classes, speaker series, and community events, and where the High Holidays resonate with connection, tradition, and hope.

    Our calendar offers many opportunities to learn, celebrate, and grow together, including our Metzuzah Bank, women’s gatherings, Jewish Learning Institute courses, holiday celebrations, social action projects, and more.
    Each program brings us closer as a community and keeps Jewish life vibrant in downtown Manhattan.
