A Hebrew School Kids Actually Look Forward To
At Chabad LES Hebrew School, we have created a warm, stimulating environment where children of all backgrounds embrace their Jewish roots and gain a true sense of Jewish pride, no matter their level of observance or affiliation.
Little Learners
Your youngest child discovers the joy of being Jewish through stories, songs, crafts, and celebration. Every class is designed to feel like the best part of their week. We meet children right where they are and build a warm foundation they’ll carry for life.
- Hebrew songs and the Aleph-Bais
- Holiday stories and hands-on crafts
- Shabbat candles, challah, and traditions
- Friendships and a warm Jewish community
Hebrew School
Children build real Hebrew reading skills, explore Jewish holidays in depth, and develop a strong, proud Jewish identity, all in a lively, welcoming classroom they genuinely want to be in. Our Aleph Champ program ensures every child reads Hebrew fluently by graduation.
- Hebrew reading through Aleph Champ
- Jewish holidays, Shabbat, and traditions
- Mitzvot and Jewish values in daily life
- Prayer, community, and Jewish pride
Private Lessons
A fully personalized Jewish learning experience built around your child. Whether they’re deepening their knowledge, preparing for a milestone, or starting fresh, we meet them exactly where they are and go at their pace.
- Fully tailored curriculum, just for them
- Flexible days and times
- Torah, prayer, Jewish history and values
- Progress at their own pace
What days and times are classes held?
Classes meet every Thursday: Little Learners from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and Hebrew School from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Private lessons are scheduled flexibly around your family.
What ages do you accept?
Little Learners welcomes ages 4 to 6 (Pre K through 1st Grade), and Hebrew School welcomes ages 6 to 11. Private lessons are available for all ages.
What is the Aleph Champ program?
Aleph Champ is a motivational Hebrew reading program modeled on the martial arts system: children advance through color-coded levels at their own pace, mastering letters, vowels, and fluent reading, and celebrating each milestone along the way.
What is the tuition for 2026–27?
Please contact us at [email protected] for current tuition and payment options.
My child has no prior Jewish education. Can they still join?
Absolutely. Children of all backgrounds and all levels are welcome, and our teachers meet every child exactly where they are.
What is the teaching approach like?
Hands-on and joyful: stories, songs, crafts, games, and lively discussion in small groups with individual attention. Children experience Judaism, they don’t just learn about it.
